Our Land Reclamation and Civils division plays a vital role in shaping safer, more accessible, and sustainable environments. The team delivers civil engineering, infrastructure, and environmental improvement schemes for local authorities, housing providers, and national bodies, supporting regeneration-led projects across public realm, highways, parks, heritage spaces, and wider environmental improvements.
Known for operating successfully in live and constrained environments, the Land Reclamation team combines strong technical expertise with collaboration and problem-solving to deliver practical, safe, and long-lasting solutions. No two projects are the same, making the work both varied and rewarding, while always aligned with our core purpose of Improving Lives.
We are looking for an experienced Civils professional with a strong track record in delivering highways reconstruction works, cycle paths, quality bus lanes/corridors and high-specification paving. You’ll be confident working in busy urban environments and managing activity around multiple local businesses and commercial outlets.
You will bring clear leadership, strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Working closely with subcontractors, internal teams and stakeholders, you’ll ensure the scheme is delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption. Key Responsibilities of a Civils Site Manager:- Support pre-construction planning, including site set-up, logistics and coordination of works.
- Lead, manage and motivate site teams, subcontractors and plant operators to deliver safe, high-quality civils operations.
- Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation, environmental regulations and company standards, promoting a strong safety-first culture.
- Plan and programme works effectively, coordinating activities to achieve project milestones and maintain programme.
- Monitor site progress, identifying and resolving risks or delays to keep delivery on track.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants and stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative approach and high levels of satisfaction.
- Manage site records and reporting, including H&S, environmental and progress documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Drive commercial awareness on site, optimising resources and supporting delivery in line with budget requirements.
- Salary between £46,000 - £52,000 depending on experience
- Car Allowance of £4,000 per annum
- Pension Scheme - We contribute 2.5% more than the employee's pension contribution, up to a maximum of 7.5% (e.g. employee puts 5% in, Casey puts 7.5% in)
