Who are we looking for in a Business Development Manager / Customer Relationship Manager

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Manager / Customer Relationship Manager who thrives on networking, identifying opportunities and building trusted relationships that generate new business.
This is an exciting opportunity to become one of Casey's key ambassadors. Working closely with our bid, marketing, operational and leadership teams, you’ll actively develop and expand our network across clients, consultants, framework partners and industry stakeholders. Your focus will be on identifying new leads, opening doors to future opportunities, strengthening our presence in the market and converting relationships into sustainable business growth.
Alongside developing new opportunities, you’ll nurture and grow our existing client relationships, ensuring Casey remains a trusted partner of choice and is well positioned to secure repeat business and expand our service offering. Your work will directly contribute to Casey's growth, helping us win new opportunities, strengthen long-term partnerships and create places, environments and opportunities that leave a positive and lasting legacy for the communities we serve.
The Detail of the Business Development Manager / Customer Relationship Manager role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Generate and develop new business opportunities through proactive networking, market engagement and relationship building.
- Build, nurture and grow strategic relationships with prospective and existing clients to secure new work, repeat business and account growth.
- Manage a robust pipeline of opportunities through the CRM system, providing accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Represent Casey at client meetings, industry events and networking forums, raising our profile and identifying future opportunities.
- Gather market and customer intelligence to identify trends, support business planning and position Casey ahead of opportunities.
- Work closely with bid, marketing and operational teams to convert relationships and opportunities into successful project wins.

You’ll play a key role in growing Casey's pipeline, expanding our client base, strengthening existing partnerships and helping to secure the projects that will shape the future of our business. - Experience in business development, client relationship management or account growth.
- A confident networker who enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and convert new business leads.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience developing existing client relationships and securing repeat business.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing a sales pipeline and CRM system.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
