We are looking for a committed and experienced individual to join our Board of Trustees as Treasurer.
As a registered charitable company, our community centre supports local people through a range of services and activities to improve life outcomes for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the financial position of the charity and advise the Board on financial matters.
- Chair our Finance Committee which meets quarterly
- Ensure proper records are kept and that accounts meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and annual accounts.
- Support the work of the outsourced accounting agency and, when necessary, liaise with staff responsible for day-to-day financial administration.
