About This Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth operation of our kitchens, helping our chefs deliver outstanding food and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the culinary team across both our kitchens—one located in the castle, the other in the clubhouse.
- Keeping all kitchen areas spotlessly clean and hygienic.
- Operating dishwashers and cleaning equipment efficiently and safely.
- Storing food deliveries in line with hygiene standards.
- Assisting with basic food preparation, including vegetables and staff meals.
- Maintaining CookSafe records and securing the kitchen at the end of your shift.
- Supporting Food & Beverage colleagues by helping to maintain the staff dining area.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, friendly, and hard-working.
- Thrives in a team environment and remains calm under pressure.
- Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in a clean and well-organised kitchen.
- Is dependable, flexible, and happy to take initiative.
- Can work independently but is also a committed team player.
- Ideally has experience working in a kitchen (though full training will be provided).
- Holds a full, clean driving licence.
- Is 18 years old or over (preferred).

Gratuities
Gratuities (tips) that are passed directly to staff are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of their role.
