The F&B team plays a central role in shaping the Skibo experience, delivering personalised, high-end service across multiple venues on the estate — from the historic castle to the golf clubhouse, and even mobile setups in the Highlands. Service extends beyond typical hospitality settings, with opportunities to serve guests in unique locations such as the Treehouse activities centre or during guided walks. As a Waiter at Skibo, you will be part of a close-knit team delivering exceptional, personalised service across a variety of venues and settings on the estate. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering attentive, guest-focused table service across multiple venues, from breakfast through to evening dining
  • Assisting with a range of service occasions, including champagne picnics, private dining, and events in unique outdoor locations
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of menus, beverages, and Club offerings to enhance the guest experience
  • Setting up and preparing service areas to the highest standards ahead of each service
  • Working collaboratively with the wider F&B team to ensure seamless, consistent service throughout the estate
  • Upholding The Carnegie Club's standards of presentation, attention to detail, and warm Highland hospitality at all times

About You

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or guest-facing role is advantageous, though not essential — full training will be provided
  • A good working knowledge of food and beverage service, or a genuine enthusiasm to develop this
  • The ability to work efficiently and calmly across a varied range of service settings and venues
