Permanent, full time Onsite role
The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle is recruiting a Front of House Manager to lead its member facing hospitality operation. This role suits an experienced hospitality leader who combines high standards, emotional intelligence, and calm authority to deliver consistently exceptional service.
The role
You will lead the Front of House team, setting the standard for service, professionalism, and member experience.
You will shape first impressions, warm welcomes, and departures, ensuring every interaction feels personal, natural, and discreet.
You will motivate, coach, and support your team, building confidence, accountability, and pride through clear communication and consistent leadership.
You will champion the Club’s values in every guest interaction, maintaining discretion, warmth, and authenticity at all times.
You will build strong relationships with members, understanding preferences and anticipating needs to create a genuinely personalised experience.
You will handle feedback and challenges with diplomacy and empathy, using them to strengthen trust and loyalty.
You will oversee Front of House operations across the estate, ensuring the environment remains elegant, efficient, and welcoming.
You will refine processes and service flow, working closely with other departments to maintain consistency and support continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
You will have senior level experience in hospitality or private members’ club management.
You will be a confident people leader, respected for your integrity, judgement, and genuine care for others.
You will have strong communication and influencing skills, with the emotional intelligence to lead calmly under pressure.
You will bring a clear vision for service excellence and the ability to bring your team with you.
Experience with hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, and reservations is required.
A commitment to team wellbeing, balanced rotas, and inclusive leadership is important.
