Our kitchens are at the heart of the member experience - our ingredient-led, seasonal menus showcase exceptional produce from our own gardens alongside locally sourced fish, shellfish and game. From relaxed Brasserie-style dining to elegant fine dining, our culinary offering is varied, thoughtful and rooted in quality. We take pride in doing things properly - baking our own bread and pastries, curing salmon in-house and preparing dishes from scratch. Our kitchen teams work across two locations: one within the Castle and one in the Clubhouse, both offering a supportive, professional and fast-paced environment.

About The Role

As part of our team of Kitchen Assistants, you'll play an essential part in the smooth running of our kitchens, supporting the chef teams and helping maintain the high standards our members expect.

  • Keeping kitchen areas clean, hygienic and well organised
  • Operating dishwashers and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
  • Receiving and storing food deliveries in line with food safety standards
  • Assisting with basic food preparation, including vegetables and staff meals
  • Maintaining CookSafe records and securing the kitchen at the end of shifts
  • Supporting Food & Beverage colleagues by helping to maintain the staff dining area

This is a hands-on role where reliability, teamwork and pride in your work are key.

About You

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or food preparation environment is welcomed, though not essential
  • A practical understanding of food hygiene, cleanliness and safe working practices (or a willingness to learn)
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks while supporting the wider kitchen team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts in a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Aged 18 or over (preferred)

  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • Calm and focused, even during busy service periods
