Manager, Europe Private Credit Operations Location: London Line of Business: Finance Job Function: Investor Services Date: Monday, November 25, 2024 Position Summary Carlyle is seeking a Manager level professional to join our Global Credit Operations team based in London. The Operations team is responsible for the ongoing management of our funds as well as developing quantitative tools to support investment decisions, valuations, asset management, investor relations, and reporting. The Manager will work closely with other Operations team members globally to handle the day-to-day responsibilities across our European Private Credit platform. Additionally, this role will work closely with the Investment Teams, Fund Management, Legal, Tax, Capital Markets, Investor Relations as well as third-party administrators and trustees. Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of day-to-day middle office operations functions for Carlyle European credit-focused vehicles. Work closely with deal teams, portfolio management, and fund management to monitor the pipeline and facilitate deal closings. Proactively manage cash and financing lines across all fund structures. Collaborate with Luxembourg Fund Management to ensure timely wire processing and deal fundings for privately held assets, including the review of funds flows and legal documents. Liaise with Investment teams and Corporate Treasury to hedge foreign currency exposure. Trade Settlements for all external facing trades across multiple asset classes. Coordinate with the centralized Data Operations team to manage reference data setup and maintenance within internal systems, and relaying information downstream to external service providers. Trade Booking in Order Management System. Responsible for reviewing cash and position reconciliations across all entities, and the timely resolutions of breaks. Assist with weekly and monthly asset valuation and regular and ad-hoc reporting for various areas within the firm. Qualifications Bachelor\’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related discipline; 6 – 10 years of experience in Financial Services. Experience with private credit. Experience managing private fund liquidity, preferred. Strong understanding of loan and credit facility documents, including Credit Agreements and Amendments. Understanding of Foreign Currency and Interest Rate Derivatives. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented self-starter. Ability to work alone and in a global team environment. Strong work ethic, honesty and integrity, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
