Process Engineer – Brewing

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects from conceptual design through to implementation and commissioning.

Our client specialises in providing engineering consulting services to the FMCG, food, and beverage industries with a large focus in brewing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptual Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative process solutions to complex operational systems. Mass & Energy balance calculation, Equipment sizing. Create process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Detail Design: Develop detailed engineering documentation. Ensure designs meet all safety, regulatory, and client requirements.
• Implementation: Technical support on installation of process systems,ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards.
• Commissioning: Lead the commissioning and start-up of new processsystems. Conduct performance tests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and control engineers. Engage with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng)in Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 8+ Year’s experience in Capex Projects as Process Engineer.
• Experience: 5+ Year’s experience in Brewing
