Job Summary

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

This role is ideal for caring, reliable individuals who are willing to travel locally to provide personalised care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Support service users with medication administration as per care plans.
  • Prepare and assist with meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to service users.
  • Support with domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and errands.
  • Accurately record care activities and maintain detailed care notes.
  • Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable adults.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for service users.
  • Travel between service users’ homes in Grays and surrounding areas, using your own vehicle.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential (training provided).
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced
