This is an opportunity to do more than simply produce calculations and drawings. You’ll lead electrical building services design , advise clients directly, mentor developing engineers and take ownership of projects from initial concept and detailed design through to completion.

Electrical Design Engineer / Building Services Engineer who enjoys technical problem-solving, client interaction and project responsibility, with genuine progression towards

Principal Engineer and Associate level .

You’ll work within a close-knit

Building Services Engineering consultancy delivering mechanical, electrical and public health ( MEP / MEPH ) design solutions across various industry spaces.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead electrical building services design across a range of projects.
  • Deliver electrical designs from concept and detailed design through to project completion .
  • Act as the technical electrical lead on assigned projects.
  • Undertake electrical calculations, design specifications, technical reports and drawings .
  • Design and coordinate building electrical systems including

LV power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting and associated electrical services .

  • Apply relevant

UK electrical regulations, design standards and industry guidance .

  • Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical building services, MEP, Revit and CAD teams and external consultants.
  • Provide technical advice to clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams .
  • Manage electrical design deliverables against programme, budget, quality and commercial requirements .
  • Mentor and support junior electrical engineers, graduates and apprentices .
  • Support fee proposals, tenders, bids and client presentations .
  • Contribute to technical standards, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
