To provide care and support to children and young people. Adhere to, uphold and exemplify the Group's core values. Participate in duties associated with the home as directed by the home Management team. Be aware of and comply with the statutory requirements and all the company's policies and procedures including those of outdoor activities.
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will be providing direct day-to-day care and support to adolescents who display emotional or behavioural difficulties and/or learning disabilities, helping them fulfil their potential, reach their aspirations, and participate in outdoor activities or alternative education. Assist the team to provide the highest standard of care to any young person/s placed.
A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for this role, along with the willingness to get business insurance. We do not accept sponsorships for this job role; you must hold a right to work in the UK. Experience in children's residential care is beneficial, as well as experience with children or young people, or personal experience.

Benefits:
- Competitive salary: Β£28,000 - Β£29,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
- Sleep-ins paid at Β£50 per night plus possibility of overtime.

Hours:
40 hours per week, to be worked on a rota basis, in accordance with the needs of the service. Flexibility is essential due to days, evenings, sleep-ins, waking nights, and Bank Holidays being required shifts. Residential Childcare Officers are on a 2-week rolling rota (can be subject to change, based on the needs of the service).
