We are looking for compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants to support children and adults in their own home and in the community across the Holmfirth area. You will visit clients throughout the HD9 area including Holmfirth, Honley, Meltham, Netherton and surrounding villages, helping them remain safe and comfortable at home. Applicants must be drivers with access to their own vehicle and business insurance, as travel between visits is required. If you enjoy making a real difference to people’s daily lives, we would love to hear from you. Full time and part time positions available.

What we offer:

  • Pay from £13.00–£16.00 per hour for carers aged 21 and over (bank holidays £16 p/h)
  • Paid mileage between visits (30p per mile)
  • Alternate weekends off and rotas given 4 weeks in advance
  • 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) and pension scheme
  • Paid training and support to gain diploma qualifications

About the role

You’ll support people in their own homes, helping them live independently with dignity and respect. This may include medication support, personal care, meal preparation, light household tasks, and companionship. We do require all our carers to work alternate weekends.
