Location: Torquay, Paignton, Brixham

Salary: £12.80 to £13.40

Contract Type: Full-time and Part-time available

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and motivated individuals to join our Reablement team. This role is slightly different from traditional domiciliary care. Instead of completing tasks for clients, you will work alongside them to help rebuild confidence, regain independence, and achieve personal goals. As a Reablement Support Worker, your focus will be on empowering individuals to manage daily activities independently, reducing or removing the need for long-term care wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and encourage clients with personal care routines
  • Assist with meal preparation while promoting independence
  • Help improve mobility and confidence in moving safely
  • Support clients with medication routines (where required)
  • Encourage access to the community and social activities
  • Work collaboratively to achieve individual goals and outcomes

Shift Patterns

  • Morning: 07:00 – 11:00
  • Lunch: 11:00 – 14:30
  • Tea: 15:30 – 18:00
  • Evening: 19:00 – 21:30 (Flexible working patterns may be available)
