Our client, a small and successful business based in Rugby, are looking for a Warehouse Operative with a counterbalance licence to join their small team and ensure excellent service delivery needs are met.
The key responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:
- Making up orders, ensuring they are correctly picked ready for distribution
- Ensuring adherence to regulations regarding the shipping and loading of dangerous goods
- Load/unload vehicles and containers using forklifts
- Carry out stocktakes to help with stock control
- Keeping track of segregation rules and making sure movement in and out of areas is controlled
The necessary requirements of a Warehouse Operative:
- FLT Counterbalance licence essential
- Good IT skills with experience using Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent level of English with strong communication skills
- Great organisation and prioritisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Can work well in a team and independently
