Our client, an Underground Utility Surveyor, is looking for a Surveyor’s Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
- Full-time - Permanent Position - Monday to Friday
- £26,500 per annum
This organisation specialises in the location of sewers, water and gas pipes, electricity cables, telecommunication cables, and other locatable buried services. A typical day will mean early starts to travel to sites. There will be a regular need to stay away overnight on larger jobs (a private room/accommodation is fully paid for along with dinner/drinks). There will be post-site work based at the office.
You will be assisting the Surveyors with their day-to-day activities in all weathers. Full training will be given in all aspects of health and safety including manual handling and working in confined spaces.
You will need to pass a DBS check and obtain a CSCS (construction) certificate. You must have a full UK driving licence, good communication skills (you will be talking to customers), and be physically fit as this role involves lifting.
There is progression within the role for the right candidate. This position would be suitable for a labourer or warehouse operative looking for a more rewarding role with progression.
