Permanent position in Rugby β Fully office based (please note, successful applicants will need their own form of transport due to the location of the offices). Monday to Friday β 9am to 5pm with a Β½ hour paid break. Salary: Β£28,000pa.
Our client, an established, family-owned business based in Rugby, is looking for a proactive and experienced Sales Coordinator to join their growing, busy team. The successful candidate will take pride in their work and have a passion for adding value to the business as a whole, being both a reactive and proactive member of the team.
The key responsibilities of a Sales Coordinator:
- Order management β overseeing the ordering process from receipt to delivery, ensuring a high-quality service and detailed administration.
- Collaborating with internal teams, as well as keeping customers updated with order-related queries, delivery delays etc.
- Sales support - working closely with Area Sales Managers to ensure timely follow-ups and pricing.
- Proactive customer engagement β liaising with existing and potential customers to gather forecasts and requirements, handling pricing for small orders and arranging sample requests.
- Customer service β setting up new accounts, dealing with complaint resolution and general enquiry management.
The skills & qualities needed to be a Sales Coordinator:
- Experience in an office based administrative/customer service/coordination role.
- Proficiency in IT systems with an ability to pick up new systems.
- A keen eye for detail and proactive nature.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a real care and pride for work.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Own transport due to the location of the office.
