Permanent Office based - Rugby Full time OR part time - 31-37 hours per week up to £30,000 depending on skills & experience Our client, a successful firm in the engineering industry, is looking for a Marketing Communications Assistant to join their small, busy team at their offices in Rugby; this role combines creative, digital, practical and administrative marketing responsibilties. The successful candidate will ideally have 1-2 years professional marketing experience. The key responsibilities of the Marketing Communications Assistant: * Drafting simple, engaging content for social media * Creating and editing images and videos for social media, case studies, exhibition announcements etc using Canva, Powerpoint, Adobe * Maintaining the company’s communications calendar, scheduling planned events, social media postings and other relevant activity * Updating various platforms to manage the release of social media posts * Managing the company’s corporate gifts requirements - this will include packing and shipping * Supporting the management of contractors and suppliers for photography, print, design, web and PR services * Updating the company intranet and websites * A positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to juggle a number of tasks while remaining calm under pressure The skills and qualities needed for a Marketing Communications Assistant: * 1-2 years experience in marketing in a professional business environment - essential * Comfortable using digital tools, including social media platforms, email tools and Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe * Knowledge of social media platforms * Experience working as a team * Great attention to detail * Physical ability to move/pack boxes for delivery * Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise and engaging content * Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan ahead and prioritise workload Benefits of working as a Marketing Communications Assistant: * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a company day * Gym membership * Private health * Employee Assistance Programme * Holiday purchase scheme * Volunteering day Interested?
