About the Role

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger professional available to start a short-term contract right away?

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading membership organization based in Rugby for a skilled Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team for a 4-week temporary placement.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an accurate, detail-oriented finance candidate to step in and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately logging and processing invoices.
  • Matching invoices against purchase orders/receipts
  • Statement reconciliations.
  • Checking invoices to ensure correct VAT treatment and applicability.
  • Assisting the wider finance team with general purchase ledger tasks as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record in an Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger role.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Business Central is highly advantageous (though not strictly essential).
  • Must be immediately available to start.
