We have a wonderful opportunity to work with our client, a school based in Rugby, who are looking for a member of staff to join their site support team. This role will include site security, maintenance, general support and health & safety. Please note, you must be willing to work both shifts as these are monthly rotational.
This role will require driving a minibus; therefore, applicants must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes, and you must have held a FULL UK Driving License for at least 2 years. You must also be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS Check.
The key responsibilities:
- Planned and reactive maintenance for buildings, classrooms and wider facilities.
- Perform routine safety inspections and compliance checks.
- Building upkeep.
- Site safety.
- Site security.
- Supporting and supervising the cleaning team.
- Occasional driving of school minibus.
The necessary skills and qualities:
- A can-do attitude.
- Ability to work alone and in a team.
- Basic skills in plumbing and carpentry would be very advantageous, but you must have general maintenance skills.
- An understanding of health and safety regulations.
- A great attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
- Willing to complete a full enhanced DBS check.
- Full UK driving license of at least 2 years.
