A respected law firm in Coventry is looking to recruit a confident and capable Legal Fee Earner to join its busy Litigation department. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a diverse caseload with real responsibility, in a hybrid role offering 1-2 days working from home each week.
The Responsibilities of a Legal Fee Earner - Litigation:
- You will manage a varied range of civil and commercial litigation matters (not personal injury, clinical negligence or employment, as these are dealt with by specialist teams), including:
- Contract disputes
- Property and landlord/tenant litigation
- Debt recovery
- Consumer rights claims
- Professional negligence and general civil disputes
The skills & qualities of a Legal Fee Earner - Litigation:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience handling litigation files
- Solid understanding of litigation procedures, including pre-action protocol and court processes
- Strong organisational and file management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proven experience meeting fee earning targets and new business development
- Experience as a Legal Executive, Solicitor, or experienced Paralegal will all be considered
