Permanent Full-time (Monday to Friday) – either 37.5 or 40 hours per week (start 8.30am/9am and finish 4.30pm/5pm) £12.21 per hour to be reviewed after 6 months.
Our client, a reputable company and industry leader, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Admin/Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team at their Kibworth head office.
Key Responsibilities of an Admin / Accounts Assistant:
- Provide administrative support to the Accounts and Office team
- Process purchase invoices, sales invoices, and credit notes accurately
- Assist with statements and account queries
- Post office runs, general filing and posting invoices
- Maintain and update internal databases, spreadsheets, and digital filing systems
- Simple bookkeeping tasks
- Liaise with internal departments when necessary
- General office duties including scanning, photocopying, and document management
Skills & Experience required to be an Admin/Account Assistant:
- Previous experience in an administrative role (preferred)
- Confident working with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently as well as part of a team
- Training provided on Sage – advantageous if you have used Sage previously
- Keen to learn with a positive attitude
- Own transport due to location of the offices
