The Training Manager leads the design and delivery of blended learning solutions to develop hotel staff skills and competencies, ensuring consistent high performance to deliver beautiful performances that create a signature differentiation.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a training network aligned with Kempinski standards by engaging with hotel operations teams.
  • Analyze training needs and measure training effectiveness to optimize learning outcomes.
  • Lead leadership competency programs by sourcing, evaluating, and recommending development initiatives for leaders at all levels.
  • Implement Kempinski training programs and tools, tracking participation and completion to ensure compliance.
  • Plan, design, and deliver operationally viable training programs that enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Develop and execute a training marketing strategy to promote learning initiatives across hotel departments.
  • Coach and train managers and Departmental Trainers to improve team and departmental performance.
  • Promote and enforce Kempinski Corporate Training policies and procedures consistently.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with external training providers, suppliers, and legal and safety authorities.

Required competencies and certifications

  • University degree in Training or Human Resources.
  • Minimum 5 years’ hospitality industry experience, including at least 2 years in a training or similar role.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation skills to deliver engaging and impactful training sessions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted partnerships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and develop proactive solutions.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
  • Experience in hotel operations is advantageous.
