A leading Manchester-based media agency is looking to find an experienced Head of Media Planning to lead its planning team working 3 days a week in their office, with a strong focus on TV but also OOH, Cinema, Press and digital - programmatic, BVOD, YouTube. This is a key leadership role for a strategic planner who understands how to build impactful, audience-first campaigns. The successful candidate will lead planning across a varied client portfolio, driving innovative multi-channel strategies that deliver reach, relevance and results.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the agency’s media planning function and manage a team of planners.
- Develop integrated campaigns across Video, OOH, Audio, Sponsorships, Press and Experiential.
- Act as senior strategic lead for key clients, offering confident media recommendations.
- Work closely with activation teams, media owners and client services to ensure strong delivery.
- Support new business pitches and agency growth initiatives.
- Raise planning standards, processes and effectiveness across the agency.
