As part of the company’s continued growth, they are seeking a Bid Writer to join their team in Cheshire. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys crafting compelling, high-quality written submissions. The successful candidate will support the full bid lifecycle, working closely with the Bid Manager and wider team to develop winning proposals that reflect the company’s values and capabilities.
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Writing and editing bid responses that are clear, accurate and tailored to client requirements
- Coordinating bid submissions from initial enquiry through to final delivery
- Creating supporting materials including CVs, case studies and presentation documents
- Managing client portals and tracking new opportunities
- Collaborating with internal teams to shape win strategies and gather technical input
- Contributing to social value responses and maintaining bid content libraries
- Using design software to enhance document presentation and layout
What We’re Looking For…
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation
- Previous experience in bid writing or a similar role within construction, engineering or professional services
- Highly organised with excellent time management and multitasking ability
- Confident using CRM systems, client portals and design tools such as InDesign
- Proactive, collaborative and comfortable working to tight deadlines
- A positive mindset with a genuine interest in contributing to a growing team
