Head of Digital (9-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Are you a Head of Digital or a highly experienced digital professional looking for your next impactful role? We’re a purpose-driven, values-led organisation supporting a national charity that delivers essential services to families across the UK.

We\’re seeking a dynamic digital leader to join us on a 9-month fixed-term contract to drive forward critical digital initiatives — most notably, a complete website redevelopment .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the website rebuild project , managing timelines, coordinating content migration, and maintaining clear stakeholder communication.
  • Oversee external freelancers and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage relationships with our CRM and social media agencies , supporting campaign planning and monthly content delivery.
  • Schedule, review, and approve email journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud .
  • Track campaign performance and provide actionable insights and reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear, thorough project documentation to support a smooth handover at the end of the contract.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in digital project management , ideally with a successful track record of website delivery .
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems , email marketing , and organic social media workflows .
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is essential.
  • Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder and agency management skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ideally, someone who is used to short-term contracts and can hit the ground running.
  • Bonus: Experience in values-led sectors such as charity, education, or social impact organisations.
