Weβre seeking an experienced multi-channel marketer to develop a creative and disruptive brand strategy on behalf of our client, a privately owned financial services group.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role will support in leading a well-regarded internal Marketing team, with sizeable marketing budgets at your disposal and an industry leading agency used for specialist channels.
You will be responsible for overseeing brand development, ensuring consistency across all channels, and leading a team to bring innovative and customer-centric campaigns to life. This role requires a mix of creative vision, commercial acumen, and data-driven decision-making to drive brand awareness / engagement and delivers measurable ROI.
Key Responsibilities :
Brand & Strategy Development
- Define and implement a comprehensive brand and content strategy based on data-driven insights.
- Lead ongoing brand positioning initiatives , ensuring learnings are effectively applied across campaigns.
- Act as the brand guardian , overseeing guidelines and ensuring consistency in tone, identity, and creative execution.
- Develop toolkits for brand positioning, creative direction, and customer experience to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
- Oversee the development of customer personas and brand architecture, aligning individual products and channels within the broader brand strategy.
- Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams to elevate creative output and campaign effectiveness.
- Stay ahead of market trends, ensuring the latest innovations in branding and content strategy are applied.
Campaign & Content Execution
- Lead multi-channel brand campaigns across PR, press, radio, content and social media.
- Drive strategic above-the-line marketing efforts, overseeing agency partnerships and performance measurement.
- Manage the content and social strategy, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives and maximising ROI.
- Leverage customer insights, segmentation, and journey mapping to enhance engagement and conversion.
- Own the creative approval process, ensuring all outputs align with brand standards and business goals.
Performance & Budget Management
- Develop KPIs and benchmarks to measure brand and creative performance.
- Lead quarterly forecasting, ensuring alignment between brand initiatives and broader marketing plans.
- Monitor campaign impact, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize performance.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, on brief, and within budget.
Leadership & Team Development
- Support and mentor the brand and content team, fostering growth and development.
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to enhance their contribution to creative and branding efforts.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure brand initiatives align with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a brand leadership role, driving brand development and content strategies.
- A strong understanding of performance marketing and how brand strategy impacts commercial outcomes.
- Ability to lead and inspire content and social teams, balancing creativity with data-driven decision-making.
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, both online and offline.
- Strong knowledge of customer insights, segmentation, and user experience best practices.
- A track record of successful budget management and ROI-driven campaign execution.
