Are you a commercially minded Marketing Manager who enjoys being hands-on and taking ownership of marketing from strategy through to delivery? We're working with an established and growing property business that's looking for a Marketing Manager to join its Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketer who thrives in a role where they can make things happen.

You'll take ownership of the marketing function locally, working closely with senior stakeholders and the wider marketing team to deliver activity that supports commercial growth. If you're someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, building campaigns from the ground up and seeing a clear commercial impact from your work, this could be an excellent next move.

The Opportunity

This is a brand-led, lead generation-focused marketing role with responsibility for delivering end-to-end campaigns that support the wider commercial objectives of the business. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into effective marketing activity, taking campaigns from initial planning and strategy through to execution, optimisation and reporting.

As the sole marketer based in the Birmingham office, you'll need to be comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership and making decisions, while collaborating with the wider marketing function remotely. You'll have genuine scope to shape marketing activity, bring new ideas to the table and become a trusted marketing partner to the wider business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and delivering end-to-end marketing campaigns, from initial strategy through to execution and reporting
  • Creating and implementing lead generation campaigns that support commercial growth
  • Developing and strengthening the brand across relevant channels
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into effective marketing strategies
  • Managing campaign planning, content, communications and activation
  • Identifying new opportunities to generate leads and increase engagement
  • Working collaboratively with the wider marketing function to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Measuring campaign performance and using insight to continually improve activity
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Supporting wider commercial initiatives where marketing can add genuine value

About You

We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager who is comfortable taking ownership rather than relying on a large team or extensive external resource to deliver activity. You'll ideally have experience within the property sector and understand how to build marketing activity that supports genuine commercial objectives. You'll be confident working independently and comfortable being the marketing voice within a busy business environment.

You'll also need the confidence and gravitas to hold your own with senior stakeholders, challenge when appropriate and influence decisions across the business.

  • Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or similar role
  • Experience working within the property sector
  • A proven track record in lead generation and commercially focused marketing
  • Strong understanding of brand development and brand-led marketing
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A hands-on approach, with the ability to execute as well as develop strategy
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidence working autonomously and taking ownership of projects
  • A commercially minded approach, with the ability to demonstrate the impact of marketing activity

This role would suit someone who has worked in a small or lean marketing function and enjoys being close to the detail. It's less suited to someone who has spent their career in a large corporate marketing department with extensive specialist resource around them.

Why Join?

This is a great opportunity to take genuine ownership of marketing within an established and growing property business. You'll have the autonomy to shape and deliver marketing activity, whilst working alongside experienced senior stakeholders and a wider marketing function. For the right person, this is a role where you can have a visible impact, introduce new ideas and see a direct link between your marketing activity and commercial performance. If you're looking for a role where you can be hands-on, commercially focused and genuinely influential, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note due to high volumes of applications unfortunately we are not always able to respond to all unsuccessful applicants. However we wish everyone who applies the very best with their job search.
