As SEO Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind organic strategy and performance for two major UK online brands. You’ll lead, plan, and execute SEO initiatives, working alongside an SEO Executive, a specialist agency, and a Digital PR partner. Collaborating closely with teams across UX, IT, Paid Media, PR and Brand, you’ll ensure a unified and effective digital marketing approach.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Plan, manage and measure organic search strategies that align with overall business goals.
  • Lead regular site audits, keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimise local SEO performance for physical branches, keeping local listings accurate and effective.
  • Work with Paid Media to test and optimise holistic search performance.
  • Mentor and develop the SEO Executive, supporting their growth through regular 1-2-1s and training.
  • Report on SEO performance to key stakeholders, using industry-leading tools and analytics.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends, best practices and SEO innovations.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar in-house or agency SEO role.
  • Experience managing junior team members & external agencies.
  • Strong SEO knowledge - both on page/off page & technical.
  • Skilled in Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and on-site technical SEO.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and Excel skills.
