A growing UK-based organisation is looking to hire an experienced Power BI Specialist on a 6‑month fixed term contract to support the development, optimisation, and delivery of business‑critical reporting and dashboards. This role will play a key part in transforming data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders across the business.
The successful candidate will work closely with non‑technical and technical teams to understand reporting requirements, build scalable data models, and deliver clear, impactful visualisations using Power BI.
What you'll be doing...
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for a range of business functions
- Translate business requirements into effective data visualisations and reporting solutions
- Build and optimise data models, measures, and calculations using DAX
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and third‑party tools
- Ensure reports are accurate, scalable, and performant
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insight‑led recommendations
- Support data governance, documentation, and best practices
- Deliver both project‑based reporting and ad‑hoc analysis as required
