We\’re currently supporting a well-established alternative finance provider that works closely with UK SMEs, helping them grow through flexible funding solutions. They’re a trusted partner for small businesses, with a strong focus on relationship-led finance and an expanding portfolio of platforms.
As they continue to scale, they’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Lead to join the business. This is a key leadership role, taking ownership of day-to-day marketing operations, leading a growing internal team, and driving high-quality B2B lead generation across all marketing channels.
This would suit someone who’s equally comfortable developing strategy and getting hands-on with delivery. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role will be instrumental in building the brand, improving acquisition performance, and enhancing customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise the marketing budget and channel mix across paid search, paid social, CRM, email, partnerships, SEO, and more
- Lead, mentor and develop a talented team spanning digital, CRM, creative, and agency partners
- Own B2B lead generation, campaign performance, and funnel optimisation
- Work closely with teams across Sales, Product, Customer Experience, and Projects to align on business goals
- Oversee day-to-day marketing processes and ensure smooth campaign delivery
- Analyse performance data, report on key metrics, and drive continuous improvement
- Champion innovation to keep marketing activity fresh, agile, and competitive

- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing both internal teams and external partners
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in performance marketing and attribution
- Hands-on across multiple marketing disciplines – digital, CRM, content, brand, etc.
