This opportunity is with one of the UK’s most significant operators, a complex and fast paced organisation that plays a central role in national and international trade. The business continues to invest in its people, infrastructure and long term growth, and the marketing function is a key part of how it communicates its vision, capabilities and commercial strength.
An experienced Marketing Manager is required on a fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a senior and hands on position that suits someone established in their career, confident operating in a corporate environment and able to bring both strategic thinking and strong delivery. The role reports into the Group Head of Marketing and focuses on developing and executing multi channel communication plans that support lead generation, proposition development and commercial growth. The contract can start immediately and the business is open to three days per week in the office for the right person.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading the development and delivery of creative marketing plans that support business growth targets, using both on and offline channels
- Translating business initiatives into clear content and communication plans that drive awareness across regional, national and international markets
- Creating compelling propositions, differentiated offers and targeted campaigns that support lead generation and conversion
- Producing high quality content including press releases, blogs, case studies and internal communications, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies and customers while identifying opportunities from market and political developments
