A fast-growing and highly successful performance marketing business is looking to appoint a CRO Manager to lead and develop its expanding Conversion Rate Optimisation function. Operating across multiple B2B and B2C markets, the company delivers large-scale lead generation campaigns across the UK and international markets, supported by significant investment in paid media, data and technology. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced CRO professional with a strong technical background and a proven ability to drive measurable commercial improvements through experimentation. The successful candidate will take ownership of the CRO roadmap across multiple lead generation journeys, using data, behavioural insights and front-end development skills to maximise conversion performance while maintaining exceptional lead quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning and managing the CRO roadmap across multiple lead generation websites and customer journeys
- Designing, building and overseeing A/B and multivariate experiments using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Analysing user behaviour, experiment results and conversion data to identify opportunities for growth and increased profitability
- Working closely with marketing, technical, compliance and creative teams to deliver high-impact testing programmes
- Using behavioural analytics tools, experimentation platforms and data insights to continuously improve customer journeys and streamline testing processes
- Prioritising experiments based on commercial impact, lead quality and revenue potential while maintaining a high-velocity testing programme
- Helping shape the future of the CRO function through process improvement, mentoring and developing best practice
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years’ experience in Conversion Rate Optimisation within a high-volume lead generation or performance marketing environment
- Strong front-end development skills with commercial experience using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience building and managing A/B testing programmes using experimentation platforms such as Convert or similar
- Excellent understanding of experimentation methodology, statistical significance and conversion analysis
- Experience using behavioural analytics tools such as Mouseflow, Microsoft Clarity or FullStory to identify optimisation opportunities
- A commercially minded and analytical approach with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes
- Someone proactive, technically confident and comfortable working in a fast-moving, data-driven environment
