We're partnering with a prominent organisation within the financial services sector to find an exceptional Head of Performance Marketing. This pivotal role calls for a strategic leader with extensive experience in digital acquisition, ready to drive growth and optimise marketing investments.

You'll be responsible for designing and executing our client's digital acquisition strategy, ensuring it aligns with their growth plans and delivers strong ROI. This includes leading efforts across paid search, paid social, and SEO, while continually optimising the digital marketing mix.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the strategy and execution of paid search campaigns to drive lead generation across all practice areas, leveraging bid automation, PMax, and audience overlays to achieve the desired case mix.
  • Spearheading the strategy and execution of paid social media activity for lead generation, including prospecting, re-targeting, and utilising Advantage Plus.
  • Driving the strategy and execution for search engine optimisation, collaborating with the Head of Digital Development for technical optimisation, the Head of Brand and Content for onsite and digital PR, and progressing towards generative search optimisation.
  • Leading reporting on the effectiveness and performance of all digital activity, ensuring optimal return on marketing investment.
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure all digital marketing efforts meet regulatory requirements and identify and manage associated legal and business risks.
  • Providing leadership and expertise as a subject matter expert in performance marketing across the department and wider business.
  • Managing key suppliers, including PR, digital PR, and analytics agencies.
  • Contributing to the department's annual budgeting process and assisting with departmental projects.
  • Fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing within the team, and supporting their professional development.

What we're looking for:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a performance marketing function.
  • Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with all paid marketing platforms, including Google Ads, Bing, Meta, and affiliate platforms.
  • Deep expertise in technical, onsite, and offsite elements of search engine optimisation.
  • Strong data analytics and reporting capabilities, including mandatory proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and experience with call tracking technology.
  • Previous experience in a lead generation environment and the professional services industry.
  • Proven experience operating within a regulated environment.
  • Commercially astute, with a solid understanding of general business levers.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team to achieve results.
  • A friendly, cooperative, and collaborative approach to clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly and meet strict deadlines.
