Location: Candidates must be prepared to work anywhere in the UK (including Scotland and Northern Ireland). We ask that Site Assistants are prepared to work on any of our sites across the UK network. While we appreciate that candidates may have a preference for a particular site or region, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate these preferences, and your application will be considered against all of our available locations.
We are currently recruiting for Site Assistants to work for us across our sites network for this season! Our talented Site Assistants are responsible for ensuring that all campers have the best experience when staying with us on one of our campsites. If you own your own unit and you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, then this could be the perfect role for you.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- To welcome all customers that arrive on site in a friendly and professional manner and show them to their pitch.
- Ensure general upkeep of the site, undertaking minor repairs and grounds maintenance duties.
- Complete daily cleaning tasks of the site facilities, toilet and shower blocks, reception and service areas, grease traps and emptying dog bins.
- Take bookings via telephone and face to face using our bespoke booking system.
- Effectively manage the customer check-in and check-out process and update the system accordingly.
- To take responsibility for the emergency phone out of normal hours on a rota basis.
- Attend regular team updates and meetings.
- Attend Club arranged training courses both on site and at Greenfields House (Coventry).
- Carry out regular site inspections/walk rounds and raise any health and safety concerns to the Site Manager.
- Experience of working within a busy customer environment or team.
- A good level of computer skills with the willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent customer facing, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Able to use handheld machinery following training to complete ground maintenance duties.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Must own a Caravan/Motorhome/Campervan/RV at the time of application.
Site Assistants are required to work 40 hours a week over a 5-day period which can be over both weekends and bank holidays to meet the needs of the site. The Club provides a staff pitch for the duration of your contract, complete with an electric hook up point free of charge so you can live and work comfortably on site. Site Assistants are entitled to 28 days holiday (pro rata). We have signed the Armed Forces Covenant and welcome the Armed Forces community to apply.
