Salary and Working Hours
Basic salary £6,819.40 (£25,354.19 FTE). Working 9.75 hours per day in the following pattern:
- Monday: 11.45am-3pm
- Tuesday & Thursday: 8.45am-12pm
- Saturday (minimum 26 per year, paid at an enhanced rate) – increases basic annual pay by £1,986.14.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers into the branch.
- Handling cash and dealing with customers' account queries accurately.
- Listening to and understanding customers’ needs to provide the correct service.
- Being accountable for following compliance regulations that keep the business and customers safe.
- Working in a small team at the Melbourn branch while supporting wider teams across The Cambridge.
Essential Qualifications and Attributes
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade A*-C/4-9 or equivalent.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic team and can be flexible.
- Learns quickly through on-the-job training.
- Confident and has an optimistic outlook.
- Has a passion for providing excellent customer service.
