Our Core Solutions Development Manager is looking for a new Test Analyst to support the development of our Finova solutions. You will support the Systems team in the testing and delivery of Finova releases, primarily the MSO upgrade. You’ll use your expertise of the Finova solution and excellent analytical skills to deliver high quality testing aligned to business practices to support the project. You'll be one of the first few to be "hands on" with the new MSO platform, and have the chance to explore, test and learn the platform as part of the delivery team. You’ll be an analytical thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail. You’ll challenge standards and always try to understand the “why” behind our systems and processes.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Deliver the testing of Finova releases for both defect fixes and solution updates.
  • Write and review test scripts to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Support Lead to keep regression packs up to date.
  • Maintain testing trackers for assigned components for Finova change and releases.
  • Suggest improvements in test approaches and strategies.
  • Support with release implementation outside of core hours of business when required.
  • Responsibility for own ticket management including Incidents, Defects / Problems identified during testing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals in the Business and Finova.

Salary and Working Hours

Starting salary £32,000.00 per annum. Monday to Friday 8:45am - 5:00pm (36.25 hours per week). Hybrid working, 1 day per week from our Head Office (Cambridge). Come and join a thriving independent mutual, where your contribution will help our customers.
