Children’s Residential - Complex Trauma Services
We are the Cambian group, one of the largest independent providers of care and education for children and young people. We believe that everybody has a personal best and we strive to show our young people their potential. An exciting opportunity has arisen for Residential Team Leaders! We are looking for Team Leaders who are caring and compassionate individuals with the desire to make a positive difference to the lives of our incredible children and young people through leading by example to other children's and young person’s support workers.
Essential Information
- £2800 to £3600 sleep in payments (based on 8-10 sleep ins per month)
- 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years
- The shifts consist of long hours and sleep ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in
Job role
- Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
- Planning team rotas to support the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments
- Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
- To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager
- To supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
- Welcome a diverse culture in the home
- Creating a safe, family environment for the children
Requirements
- You MUST be 21 due to Ofsted regulations
- Driving is essential due to locations of the homes
- You must have at least six month’s experience in Children’s residential care and you must hold a relevant level 3 qualification
