About the Role: As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the residential home, supporting a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care to children and young people. You will play a pivotal role in promoting a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where every child feels valued and empowered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Residential Support Workers.
- Ensure the home operates in compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Promote a child-centred approach, focusing on the welfare, development, and safety of each child.
- Support children in achieving their personal goals and help them develop essential life skills.
- Oversee the planning and delivery of individual care plans.
- Manage staff rotas, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Conduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and training sessions for the team.
- Handle safeguarding concerns and ensure all incidents are appropriately recorded and reported.

About You: We are looking for a resilient, empathetic, and proactive individual who has experience working in residential childcare and is ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will possess: A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
