Ivy House is a welcoming Supported Living Service in Barnet, supporting up to 7 adults with learning disabilities (currently 5 residents). Each person has their own individual room, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
Our team supports residents to develop their independence and daily living skills, including shopping, budgeting, attending health appointments, and taking part in social activities. Located close to Barnet High Street, Ivy House offers easy access to shops, local transport (High Barnet Station β Northern Line), parks, and a local museum.
Please note: The CareTech Group is a Sponsored Employer; however, our sponsorship programme is currently full. Applications will only be considered from individuals who already have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Your Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
Implement individual support plans and encourage independence through daily activities.
Support residents with personal care, meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and social activities.
Maintain effective communication with service users, families, and colleagues while respecting confidentiality.
Keep accurate records and notes as required.
Work across our Barnet Supported Living services, including weekends and bank holidays.
What We\βre Looking For
A Diploma in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards one.
Previous experience in care (desirable, but not essential β full training provided).
Positivity, friendliness, and resilience under pressure.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults.
