Position: Class Teacher
Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston
Hours: 40 hours per week, term time, permanent position

As our Class Teacher, your role will be to provide high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and experiences through the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum to enable our pupils to achieve their full potential in all areas of learning.

Who we are: Cambian Red Rose School is an independent, DfE-registered, co-educational day school, providing specialist education for up to 30 students aged 5-17 years. Cambian Red Rose School provides high-quality, personalised education for students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.
The ideal candidate will:
- Ideally hold UK QTS and a degree.
- Have good interpersonal skills and will be able to interact with and communicate confidently with staff, students, and other stakeholders.
- Have an understanding of mental health diagnosis and be able to use an empathetic approach to engage learners.
- Have knowledge of the curriculum and be able to deliver in more than one curriculum area.
- Have high expectations for all students and be able to raise attainment levels and keep standards high.
- Possess good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude.
- Be able to manage your time and workload effectively.
- Have a sound understanding of safeguarding practice and procedures.
