Dual Registered Manager – Children’s Learning Disabilities

CareTech/Inspire is looking for an experienced and values-driven Dual Registered Manager to lead two children’s residential homes for young people with learning disabilities.

You’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across both homes, ensuring excellent safeguarding, compliance, quality of care and outcomes for children. You’ll develop strong teams, promote trauma-informed practice and create safe, nurturing environments where young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage both children’s homes in line with Ofsted and regulatory standards
  • Ensure high-quality, personalised care plans and positive outcomes
  • Recruit, develop and retain strong, consistent teams
  • Promote consultation and participation for young people
  • Maintain safeguarding, compliance and quality standards
  • Manage complaints and child protection concerns
  • Work closely with families, carers and professionals
  • Attend care planning and review meetings
  • Build a safe, inclusive and therapeutic culture across both homes
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years
  • Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification preferred, or willingness to enrol within 6 months
  • Knowledge of Quality Standards, SCCIF, legislation and Ofsted requirements
  • Experience supporting children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties
  • Strong leadership, communication, planning and organisational skills
  • Full UK manual driving licence
