Role Description
The Internal Recruiter role is a full-time, HYBRID 2 days home 3 days office position based in Gateshead. The Internal Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, screening applications, and conducting initial interviews. The role involves partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, advising on selection processes, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
The Internal Recruiter will maintain accurate recruitment records, support compliance with relevant employment regulations, and contribute to workforce planning. The position also includes building talent pipelines, coordinating onboarding activities, and promoting Cambian’s employer brand in line with its values and safeguarding responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition, including managing full-cycle hiring processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and operational teams.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), and standard office software.
- Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on candidate care.
- Solid organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple vacancies and deadlines.
- Understanding of UK employment law, safeguarding principles, and safer recruitment practices in health or social care settings.
- Experience recruiting in healthcare, social care, education, or similar regulated environments is advantageous.
