Children’s Residential – Complex Trauma Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Residential Team Leaders! We are looking for Team Leaders who are caring and compassionate individuals with the desire to make a positive difference to the lives of our incredible children and young people through leading by example to other children\\\’s and young person’s support workers.
We are looking for people who are flexible, reliable, adaptable able to read situations to help our young people make positive choices whilst proactively supporting colleagues in their development through leading by example. Are you great at being calm in situations? Offering advice? A good listening ear and have the ability to show unconditional positive regard? Then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
- Planning team rotas to support the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments
- Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
- To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager
- To supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
- Welcome a diverse culture in the home
- Creating a safe, family environment for the children
Requirements
- You MUST be 21 due to Ofsted regulations
- Driving is essential due to locations of the homes
- You must have at least six month’s experience in Children’s residential care and you must hold a relevant level 3 qualification
