We love celebrations here, and they are a huge part of what we do. So much so that in 2019 we launched Events by Camberwell Arms, our off‐site catering team. Since then we have provided catering for weddings, parties and other celebrations at dozens of venues across London and beyond. The simple idea that underpins our off‐site events is bringing what we do here at the Camberwell Arms to our clients, wherever they would like that to be.

Our feasting menus reflect the simple but excellent cooking that you will find in our restaurant kitchen, accompanied by the same attentive but informal service the Camberwell Arms is well known for. Our dishes are seasonal but tailored to each client's preferences, with different celebration styles and levels of personalisation available.

Events by the Camberwell Arms is an exciting part of our business and in 2026 the department is expanding. We are pleased to be opening up the books for the role of Events Sous Chef. Candidates would be working alongside our wonderful Events Head Chef Lauren Day to prepare and deliver outstanding menus to our clients at venues across London and beyond. This role is ideal for someone seeking to grow their experience of events of all sizes as part of a supportive and knowledgeable team.

Work in the Events department is dynamic and varied. Much of the role is based on site at the Camberwell Arms in the events kitchen, with regular excursions to the many beautiful venues we are partnered with. As ever the brief is to work with the best produce we can get hold of to prepare exciting, inventive and appealing dishes delivered at scale for large parties and weddings.
