The Role

  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene and kitchen safety
  • Support chefs by ensuring equipment, cookware and utensils are available and ready
  • Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
  • Keep kitchen and back-of-house areas tidy, organised and hazard-free
  • Uphold brand, hygiene and food safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, surfaces, floors and storage areas
  • Ensure all crockery, cookware and utensils are washed, sanitised and stored correctly
  • Manage waste disposal, recycling and chemical usage safely
  • Prepare workstation areas before service and complete end-of-shift duties
  • Communicate effectively with culinary and service teams to support seamless operations
