As our Reservations Agent, you will be an integral part of delivering an exceptional luxury experience, ensuring that each guest's journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Your role will be essential in shaping memorable moments for our guests from pre-arrival to the final farewell. Hereβs a glimpse into what your day may entail:
- Provide pre-arrival services for guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from booking stage through check-out.
- Assist with and complete audits, as required.
- Ensure that all emails are responded to within a timely period of being received including Guests, internal Departmental Heads and Travel Agents.
- Answer all incoming phone calls in a timely manner, and assist with customer queries for bedrooms, dining and spa.
- Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that both the Front of House Manager and Duty Managers are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties.
- Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
- Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy.
- Ensure that provision is made to maintain a clear understanding of requirements between customer and operational groups.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
- Liaise with Front Office & Housekeeping among other leaders daily to ensure all arrivals are guaranteed, effective delivery of guest requirements, special requests and billing accuracy.
- Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems.
