The Role

The Night Auditor is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the smooth overnight operation of the hotel’s front desk. This role includes managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, maintaining security, and responding to guest needs professionally and efficiently. The Night Auditor plays a key part in optimising guest satisfaction, ensuring compliance with hotel policies, and supporting operational efficiency during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by warmly welcoming guests and addressing their needs.
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner.
  • Maintain security by monitoring access to the hotel and ensuring guest safety.
  • Communicate clearly with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage guest reservations, billing, and payments accurately.
  • Prepare and submit night audit reports and other required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Participate in team training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
