At The Caledonian Edinburgh, exceptional service continues throughout the night. We are seeking a Nights Duty Manager to support overnight operations, ensuring guest safety, service excellence and seamless hotel performance after hours.

The Person:

  • Calm, confident and professional working independently overnight
  • Strong leader with sound judgement and decision-making skills
  • Guest-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Flexible to work night shifts and support operational needs.

The Role:

  • Support the leadership of overnight hotel operations
  • Act as a senior point of contact for guests and team members
  • Maintain safety, security and service standards throughout the night
  • Ensure operational continuity and accurate reporting
  • Deliver a smooth handover to the Front of House team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the nights team and allocate overnight duties effectively
  • Handle guest issues swiftly, calmly and professionally
  • Complete night audit processes and financial controls
  • Monitor hotel security, safety and risk overnight
  • Communicate clearly with the Front of House Team & Operational Departments.
