At The Caledonian Edinburgh, breakfast sets the standard for the day ahead. We are seeking a Breakfast Chef to craft high-quality, beautifully presented dishes that reflect the luxury and heritage of our iconic hotel, ensuring every guest begins their morning with excellence.
The Person:

The Role:
- Prepare, cook and present breakfast dishes to luxury-level specifications
- Maintain a clean, organised section and ensure full readiness before service
- Support kitchen operations by managing stock, ingredients and equipment
- Collaborate with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and team to ensure smooth service
- Adapt dishes for dietary requirements and uphold food safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, timely breakfast service in line with brand standards
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines and presentation expectations
- Minimise food waste through accurate planning and preparation
- Complete end-of-shift procedures and maintain section hygiene
- Support junior chefs and participate in team briefings and training sessions.
